January Challenge kit and a giveaway.

Happy new Year to everyone. We are keen to get the year started off right by re-commencing the monthly challenge kits, and so we are excited to reveal the January challenge kit.

Here is the January challenge kit. The kit is only $10 (+$6.95 P&H). Papers are so very pretty. They are Lilac House from Fancy Pants.

Create an entry from your kit and submit to the store by midnight on January 31st (either in person, by email or via facebook) to be in the running to win the following month's challenge kit for free!

Please note that these kits are EXTREMELY limited in numbers and are expected to go very quickly.

An Update

Things have started to slow down in relation to re-organising the shop. We are slowly getting it to be the way we want it to be.

We have had lots of new visitors and many old customers have been in to say Hello

I recently went to Brisbane for a couple of days and bought back lots of new stock. I just love the new Petaloo Flowers. I am also planning on another visit to Brisbane next week, depending on the floods.

We are expecting a big shipment in the next week or so, once again depending on the floods.

I am anxiously waiting for the CHA releases in the next few weeks. Hopefully I will be able to visit CHA in the middle of the year. One of my dreams.

We are now stocking copics and plan to run classes in January. Anyone who is interested can contact the shop 49220990 for further information.

On 18th, 19th and 20th February we are having Dale Gray, an Accredited Parchment Craft Teacher visiting Rockhampton to teach that wonderful craft 'Parch'. There are some beautiful samples in the shop for those interested. Further information will be released in January for all of those crafty people who want to learn this beautiful craft.

As you all would know, we are a bit water logged here in Rockhampton at the moment. I have had to move into town from the property so that I could keep the shop going. At least the shop does not get water in it.

New Venture

Well the time has come for me to announce my new venture.

I have purchased a Scrapbooking shop in Rockhampton and Melissa and I, as partners, took over as of 5.00pm on Friday 26th November.

It is rather daunting getting the shop exactly how we want it. Melissa and I have worked really hard over the weekend to have things presentable to open for Monday morning. Melissa and I would never have done it without the help of Tina, Tayla, Rachel, Annalysse, Di and of course Bryce. Thank you one and all.

The shop was called Scrap N Scrap but I have changed the name to "A Crafters Passion", thank you Melissa for the name. We believe anyone who does craft has to have a real passion for it.

We shall also be continuing with scrapbooking classes and card classes and introducing new classes. Big plans are in place for February with a guest teacher from Brisbane coming to Rockhampton to teach.

This is a LO that was completed for Debs Creations.

Time to make an update.

I completed the Copic Certification Course recently in Brisbane and had a ball doing it. There is so much involved but it is practice, practice and more practice. I am looking forward to completing the Intermediate Course next year.

I really want to buy more copics now.

We have been super busy of late and I cannot see things slowing down until next year.

I have lots of LO's and cards to upload but am still trying to work out how to do that part of the blog.
